My uncle keeps pushing horton's auto sales on me, worth a second look?

My cousin bought two cars from horton's auto sales and now brings it up at every single family dinner like it's a personal achievement. Something about a dealership being that convenient and that cheap makes me nervous, honestly.

Before I even look at their listings I'd rather hear from people who don't have a stake in whether I buy from them. Anyone here dealt with horton's without a relative talking them into it first?

Family recommendations always make me cautious too, but the warranty coverage on major issues gave me some peace of mind once I actually went through with it. That doesn't mean everything is flawless, just that the downside felt manageable.

Worth checking a few opinions outside your circle before deciding either way, which sounds like exactly what you're doing here.

Delivery took a little longer to get coordinated than I expected, but the car itself arrived in good shape once it did.

I get the skepticism, a recommendation from family isn't the same as an independent review. That said, I looked into horton's auto sales on my own before buying and the process was pretty straightforward with no pressure to haggle.

I still did my own once over when the car arrived just to be safe, and it checked out fine.
